I like Teacher Heidi’s flexible teaching style and how she creates materials based on topics that interest the students. This allows my child, who usually has trouble focusing, to engage in and look forward to Mandarin lessons.

She provides practice in Mandarin with topics that are interesting or relevant to daily life, incorporating beloved anime characters, stories, or recent and upcoming events into customized lessons. This helps my child learn relevant Chinese characters that can be immediately applied while also using the Chinese language materials from the Overseas Community Affairs Council.

​

Additionally, my child is willing to complete light writing assignments without feeling stressed about it.

​
